As you may already know this Saturday there was a devastating earthquake in our country, Ecuador .
As of this writing, more than 500 people have died, more than 3,000 people have been injured, and the horrors seems to grow larger by the hour. With estimates of at least $100 million dollars in damage, a state of emergency has been declared and the casualties and damage reports are expected to rise as the rescue effort is ongoing.
As much as we appreciate your thoughts and prayers, what this amazing country needs is help.
Thousands of people have been left homeless, making them vulnerable to dirty water and disease.
10% of all our sales for the months of April and May will go directly to donations for aid and relief efforts. We are also coordinating an effort to deliver emergency water filters to those in need. Our son is traveling to Ecuador in a couple weeks and Delta is offering no weight restrictions on flights to Ecuador, so we can take advantage of that and take whatever we can collect directly to where this help is needed.
We identified three options for you to help:
1) Buy any of these emergency water filters and ship to us before May 1st.
Address to ship:
4491 Hill Gate Ct
Gainesville, GA 30506
2) Make a donation to this organization that is working directly with the victims: http://www.kahre.org/
3) Support animal rescue efforts lead by our brother in Ecuador: http://lordguau.com/emergencia
Thanks in advance!
